Life Skills is designed to increase student knowledge and skills necessary for everyday living. The course emphasizes goal-setting, decision making and problem solving, communication, healthy lifestyles and relationships, nutrition, personal safety, citizenship and consumerism.
- Target 1-Apply information analysis, goal setting, decision-making skills and management principles to real-life situations.
- Target 2- Integrate multiple life roles and responsibilities in family, work and community.
- Target 3- Analyze factors contributing to respectful and caring relationships in the family, work place and community.
- Target 4-Analyze nutrition and wellness practices in relation to individual and family well being.
