The biggest jump here is to have the students focus on the concepts around “who, what, when, where, and how.” Students should be able to read fables, determine their morals, and be able to identify different points of view.
Mathematics
Quantifiably measurably learning goals include the ability to not only be able to count, but also work with time and money. Also numeric place value of whole numbers should be learned.
Health & Physical Education
With second grade being one of the most important times in a child’s developmental stages, its important our students learn the basic guidelines they need for living a safe, healthy life.
Technology, Business, and Information Literacy
Technology, business, and information literacy will be continued from grade 1, as students will gain skills for navigating information in libraries and online. It is important for students to be able to tell the difference between fiction and non-fiction resources at this stage in their education.
Art and Design
eAchieve Academy’s students will work on their creative communication skills by producing art in forms such as graphic design, landscape, photography, and through popular images and objects.
The Environment
By the end of their year in second grade, students will be able to describe ecosystems in Wisconsin, both natural and human-built. Students will also have gained knowledge on the different types of adaptations organisms may make to adjust to their habitat in times of change.
Music
Near the end of their second grade year, students will have worked on reading notes and rests in their varied forms, including whole, half, dotted, and eighth.

Full-Time EnrollmentPart Time Students
High school and home school students can enroll in one or two online classes every semester and still go to the same school you currently attend. eAchieve Academy offers a wide range of core classes, honors classes, AP classes and electives.
Part-Time EnrollmentMid-Year Transfers
Students who want to transfer from their current school full-time to eAchieve for online high, middle or elementary school can do so for the remainder of the school year. To transfer to eAchieve during the school year, you must meet one of the open enrollment exceptions.
