Course Description
By first grade, our students are more aware of their world than before and need to have a better understanding of how the world works. With our lesson plans in line with standards set by the state of Wisconsin, eAchieve Academy will give first grade students the knowledge they need to correctly see the environment.
Learning Targets
Students will be taught about the flow of energy in natural cities, with the sun being the main source of energy on Earth. Utilizing some of their art skills they’ll be learning at the same time, students will learn how to illustrate the energy they use in their daily lives. Students will also gain enough knowledge to be able to list sources of renewable and nonrenewable sources of energy existing in the world. Along with this list, students will be able to name components of an ecosystem, including the aspects of a healthy habitat.
