Macalester is a small, private liberal arts college in St. Paul Minnesota with a little over 2,000 undergraduate students. The school has a robust academic program and prides itself on academic excellence. They look for students who show promise to benefit from and contribute to the intellectual life of the college. With an admissions rate of 41%, the school is considered moderately competitive, but you’ll need a strong GPA with mostly A’s to have a chance of getting admitted.
