Iowa State University Admission Requirements

Iowa State University of Science and Technology, known as Iowa State, is the largest university in Iowa. Founded in 1858, the school today consists of eight colleges offering over 100 bachelor’s degree programs, 112 master’s degree programs and 83 Ph.D. level programs, as well as a Veterinary Medicine school.  There are just over 36,000 students enrolled.

Iowa State is considered to be moderately selective in who they admit, but that doesn’t mean you can coast through high school. You’ll need a solid B+ average to have a good shot at getting admitted. Taking online high school courses at eAchieve Academy can prepare you for meeting their admissions standards, especially if you add a few AP classes to your curriculum.
