Integrated Math

Description:

Integrated Math is a course intended for the student who passed Algebra I, possibly with difficulty, who is not yet ready to take Geometry. As an integrated course, the class both reviews number sense, mathematical operations, and algebraic skills. This is a customized ALEKS course.

Learning Targets:

Target #1 GRAPHING:  Students will know and be able to graph linear functions.

Target #2 SOLVING:  Students will know and be able to analyze different types of equations and choose the appropriate method to solve for the variable. 

Target #3 Geometry:  Students will know and be able to exhibit knowledge of basic geometric concepts such as area, perimeter, and volume.

Target #4 WRITING EQUATIONS:  Students will know and be able to manipulate data to write an equation or inequality.
